Experimental Electronics. It took us 18 months to convince Druhb (formerly known as Destroy Mercedes) to release this recording of a 2003 live show. The first 23 tracks are the second session. The morning session has been included as track 24. This session is complete (74 minutes) on the MP3 release of this album, but it has been reduced to 30 minutes for the CD-R version.

Although Violeta Gomez is better known as a singer-songwriter (or as a controversial photographer), this album features a bunch of instrumental low-fi pop tracks recorded on an old Roland SH-101 synth, with just some sparse vocal overdubs. And although she defines it as "a toy record", the subtitles reads "a journey to the center of desire". Of course, the latter is truer than the former since this album, as all Violeta's recent work, explores the relation between innocence...

This is a 30-minutes-long live recording of the 2004-09-11 concert at the LEM festival in Barcelona. It features a 40-seconds rock'n'roll (you know, guitars & drums) intro which is among my favorite Hazard Records fragments to sample.
